Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to the Central India Cultural Tour by Erco Travels. Arrive at the Delhi international airport where Erco’s representatives will receive you and will transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy your dinner in the hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi

There are many monuments in Delhi belonging to different kingdoms and empire. The Mughals and the British have left an ever-lasting impression on Delhi’s culture. While Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Humayun's Tomb are the heritage of Mughals, India Gate and Parliament of India were constructed during the British Raj. You can visit all of them on a day tour.

Day 03 : Delhi-Jaipur

After your breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to Jaipur by surface. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is referred as the Pink City of India because of its pinkish boundary walls. Jaipur holds the essence and pride of former Rajputana and is a major cultural hub in Rajasthan. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities like shopping.

Day 04: Jaipur

On a guided tour of Jaipur, you will be taken to the Amber Fort for sightseeing. The best way to reach Amber Fort is the elephant ride. Other attractions to see during the day tour are the City Palace, Jantar Mantar and the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Wind. Get back to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 05 : Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra

After experiencing the royal hospitality of Jaipur, it is now time to bid adieu Rajasthan and proceed to Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Agra, after becoming the Mughal capital of India, enjoyed much attention from the Mughal emperors. Fatehpur Sikri is an old city with amazing Mughal architecture and is listed as World Heritage Site. On the way to Agra, you can visit the deserted but well maintained city of Fatehpur Sikri. After the tour, proceed to Agra and check-in at the hotel. After lunch, an afternoon tour of the Taj Mahal will be arranged. Taj Mahal is the most visited monument in India and is also a World Heritage Site. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 06 : Agra-Gwalior-Orcha

Take a morning road trip to Orcha via Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. Gwalior is a major historical city and is famous for the Gwalior Fort. Take a short tour of Gwalior Fort and afterwards continue towards Orcha. Arrive in Orcha and check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in the hotel.

Day 07 : Orcha-Khajuraho

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Then, take a sightseeing tour of Orcha and visit the Chaturbhuj Temple and Fort complex. After lunch, begin a two-hour drive to Khajuraho. Arrive in Khajuraho and proceed to the hotel for spending the rest of the evening.

Day 08 : Khajuraho

Khajuraho is a world-famous tourist destination because of its amazing Hindu and Jain temples. These temples are listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On a full-day guide tour of Khajuraho, visit the western, eastern and southern group of temples. Learn more about the history and art of these temples through a professional light and sound show in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 : Khajuraho-Allahabad

The next stop of this tour is Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. Allahabad, the place of the sacred union of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers, is one of the holiest cities in India for the Hindus community. It will take five hours to reach Allahabad. After arrival, spend the rest of the day as you please.

Day 10 : Allahabad-Varanasi

Take a day tour of Allahabad to see the Allahabad Fort and Anand Bhawan. After lunch, depart for Varanasi by surface. Arrive in Varanasi and proceed to the hotel. Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 11 : Varanasi

Varanasi is also of deep religious significance for Hindu community. Get-up early in the morning to have a boat ride in holy Ganges River. It is an amazing experience to see people worshiping at the ghats of the river. You can visit the Vishwanath Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and Durga temple on the day tour. Evening is free for strolling around the markets.

Day 12 : Varanasi-Delhi

The entire day is free for leisure activities. In the evening, board an overnight train back to Delhi. Dinner will be served onboard.

Day 13 : Delhi

Arrive at Delhi railway station in the morning. You will be transferred to the hotel by Erco’s representatives. Rest of the day is free for shopping and other leisure activities.

Day 14 : Delhi Depart
