Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India, the land of amazing cultures. Representatives from Erco Travels will be present at the airport to greet you and assist you in your transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 : Delhi

Begin the full-day tour of Delhi by visiting the tourist attractions of Old Delhi. The crowed and narrow lanes of Old Delhi will take you back in time. While visiting the Red Fort, you can see the crowded markets where a continuous hustle and bustle goes on. Next through the crowed market of Chandni Chowk, visit Jama Masjid. This 17th century mosque was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. An exciting thing to try in Chandni Chowk is the cycle rickshaw ride.

New Delhi is a modern and an ever-growing international city. The buildings and monuments in New Delhi are hugely influenced by British architecture. The Parliament Building, India Gate and the Rashtrapati Bhawan are some of its finest examples. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 03 : Delhi-Varanasi

Today visit the tallest brick monument in the world, Qutub Minar. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later in the afternoon, proceed to the railway station to board a train to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is said that the best travel journey in India can be experienced through a train trip. Overnight stay will be in the train so dinner will be served on-board.

Day 04 : Varanasi

After an early arrival on the Varanasi railway station, you will be transferred to the hotel by Erco Travels’ local representatives. Breakfast will be in the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath that is 13 km away from Varanasi. It is this very place where Gautama Buddha preached his first sermon. Sarnath is an important religious place for the Buddhist. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 05 : Varanasi

Varanasi is said to be the oldest living city in the world. It is of great religious importance for Hindu as a pilgrimage place. Get up early in the morning to see the prayer rituals near the banks of holy Ganges River. Take a boat ride to see how people offer their devotion to the Gods on the ghats of Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast. You can visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and Art Gallery of Banaras Hindu University. Evening time is for free for leisure activities. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 06 : Varanasi - Agra

A train trip to Agra for you will be arranged before afternoon. Time till afternoon is free so use it accordingly. Board the train early in the evening to Agra. Overnight stay and dinner will be on the train.

Day 07 : Agra

Arrive in Agra early in the morning. Proceed straight to the hotel for check-in and refreshing. Agra is home to the most visited UNESCO World Heritage Site in India, Taj Mahal. Visit the Taj Mahal afterwards. There are many other monuments near Taj Mahal like the Great Gate and the Taj Mahal Mosque. Spend the day in exploring the beauty of the Taj Mahal compound. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 08 : Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Bharatpur

It is now time to check-out from the hotel and visit Fatehpur Sikri just on the edge of Agra city. It is a ghost town that was built during Mughal rule as the next capital of India. Its architecture follows the mixture of Mughal and Indian styles. It is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. Then take a short road-trip to Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Visit the Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary that has over 240 species of birds. It is one of the finest bird Sanctuaries in India. Afterwards, proceed to the hotel for check-in and spending the night.

Day 09: Bharatpur - Jaipur

Next stop is the capital of Rajasthan and the pink city of India, Jaipur. It is a major tourist hotspot and is very popular among foreign tourists. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival and spend the evening in relaxing.

Day 10 : Jaipur

This day is reserved for an excursion of Jaipur. The main tourist attractions of Jaipur include Amber Fort, the Palace of Wind or Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal and the City Palace of Jaipur. If sufficient time is left, you can also visit the Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort.

Day 11 : Jaipur-Pushkar

Next stop of this tour is Pushkar. A holy city for Hindus, Pushkar is known for its cultural charm. The world-famous annual Pushkar Camel Fair is also a major reason to visit Pushkar. Places to visit in Pushkar are Brahma Temple, Varah Temple, Man Mahal and Pushkar Lake.

Day 12 : Pushkar-Udaipur

Now proceed to Udaipur by surface. Udaipur is a former princely state of Rajputana. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for relaxing. You can visit Jagdish Temple in the evening and the local markets afterwards.

Day 13 : Udaipur

After the breakfast, prepare yourself for a full-day excursion of Udaipur City. First visit the museum inside the City Palace. Udaipur is called the City of Lakes because of many beautiful lakes that are located in different parts of the city. Near Lake Pichola, you can visit the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. Boating option is also available in Lake Pichola. Other major attractions are Monsoon Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake and Saheliyon-ki-Bari (garden compound).

Day 14 : Udaipur-Ranakpur-Jodhpur

The next stop will be Jodhpur, but before that, you will be taken to Ranakpur by surface. There are many beautiful Jain temples in Ranakpur belonging to 15th century. The most amazing thing about these temples is that there are over 1444 pillars supporting 29 halls and not a single pillar is similar to any other pillar in design. Then, continue towards Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel upon arrival.

Day 15 : Jodhpur

After breakfast, begin the day tour of Jodhpur by visiting the Mehrangarh Fort. It is one of the largest forts in India. Next visit Jaswant Thada, a royal mausoleum built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The rest of the day after lunch is free to enjoy. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 16 : Jodhpur-Jaisalmer

Now it is time to move into the heart of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel for check-in and spending the rest of the day.

Day 17 : Jaisalmer

The day tour of Jaisalmer includes visits to the Jaisalmer Fort and Gadsisar Lake. There are many Jain temples in and around Jaisalmer which makes it an important pilgrimage center for Jain community. In the evening, you can visit the Sam Sand Dues for an amazing sunset view. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 18 : Jaisalmer

Today is free for leisure activities after breakfast. You can have camel rides or visit the nearby villages.

Day 19 : Jaiselmer-Bikaner

It is now time to depart from Jaisalmer and proceed to Bikaner. On arrival proceed to the hotel for check-in and refreshing. You can visit the Junagarh Fort and Lalgarh Palace afterwards. In the evening visit the Karni Mata Temple and Laxmi Nath Temple. Get back to the hotel for dinner and spending the night.

Day 20 : Bikaner-Mukundgarh

Now depart from Bikaner to Mukundgarh by surface. Mukundgarh belongs in the Shekawati region of Rajasthan and is famous for its painted royal mansions or Havelis. Check-in at the hotel on arrival and have an afternoon tour of the nearby Havelis. Dinner will be at the hotel.

DAY 21 : Mukundgarh-Delhi

This is the last day of this tour so after breakfast, pack your bags and check-out from the hotel to get back to Delhi. On arrival, transfer direct to the international airport to catch the next flight back to the home country. Thank you and best wishes for the journey ahead by Erco Travels.
