Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Welcome to India, the land of contrast. Erco Travels brings to you the Central India with Rajasthan tour. The tour begins with your arrival in Delhi (airport/railway station). Representatives from Erco Travels will meet you and will assist you in transferring to the hotel rooms already booked for you. Rest of the day is free.

Day 02 : Delhi

Delhi is going to be the first place that you will visit on this tour. Delhi is the present capital of India and has served as the centre of power for many kingdoms, including the Mughals and the British Raj. Thus, you will find many monuments and historical buildings belonging to different time and empires. The main historical attractions on the Delhi tour are Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Qutub Minar. Tourist attractions include Jantar Mantar and India Gate. For shopping and eat-outs, you can visit Connaught Place.

Day 03 : Delhi-Mandawa( 260 Kms / 6-7 hrs)

After enjoying your breakfast in the hotel, it is time to checkout from the hotel and move to Mandawa, Rajasthan. It will take around four hours to cover this distance depending on the traffic condition. Arrive in Mandawa and check-in at a heritage hotel. After lunch, you can take a short tour of Mandawa. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 04 : Mandwa- Bikaner( 175 Kms / 6 hrs)

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Afterwards, take a road-trip to Bikaner. Arrive in Bikaner and proceed straight to the hotel. You can visit the Lalgarh Palace, Junagarh Fort and Laxmi Niwas Palace. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 05 : Bikaner-Jaislmer(340 kms / 7 hrs)

Next stop is the Golden City of India, Jaisalmer. Drive to Jaisalmer in the morning. The former princely state is a desert fortress with a rich history. Check-in at a heritage hotel and spend the rest of the evening at the hotel.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer

Day tour of Jaisalmer is arranged after breakfast. The main attractions of Jaisalmer are Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon-ki-Haveli and GadiSar Lake. Visit the Sam Sand Dunes in the evening to see the sunset view in the desert.

Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur ( 340 Kms / 8.5 hrs)

After the breakfast, take a road-trip to Jodhpur. Arrive in Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel. Take a city tour of Jodhpur and visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 08 : Jodhpur - Mount Abu (244 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)

Drive to Mount Abu in the morning, which is the only hill station in Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please.

Day 09 : Mount Abu

The day tour of Mount Abu will include visits to the Hindu temples on the mountains. In the evening, you can have a boat ride in the Nakki Lake. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Mount Abu - Udaipur (292 Kms/6-7 Hrs)

Drive to Udaipur after the breakfast. The lake city of India, Udaipur is the most romantic city in Rajasthan. Arrive in Udaipur and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir temple which is on an island in Lake Pichola. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 11 : Udaipur

Begin the full-day sightseeing tour of Udaipur and visit the City Palace of Udaipur, Lake Palace, Saheliyon-ki-Bari and Jagdish Temple. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities.



Day 12 : Udaipur - Pushkar ( 275 Kms /5-6 Hrs)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and afterwards, proceed towards Pushkar. An ancient holy city, Pushkar is an important pilgrimage destination for the Hindus. After your arrival and check-in at the hotel, you are free to spend the rest of the time as you please.

Day 13 : Pushkar-Jaipur (130 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)

The day tour of Pushar will include a visit to the temples around Pushkar Lake. There are over 400 temples and 52 bathing ghats surrounding this holy lake. After lunch, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. After arrival in Jaipur, check-in, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14 : Jaipur

The day is reserved for a full-day sightseeing tour of the pink city of India, Jaipur. Main attractions of Jaipur are Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 15 : Jaipur - Agra ( 232 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)

It is now time to depart from Jaipur and move to Agra in Uttar Pradesh on a four-hour drive. Agra is home of Taj Mahal, the eternal love symbol. Agra was once the capital of India under the Mughal kingdom. On the way to Agra, you can visit the Mughal ghost town known as Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive in Agra and proceed to the hotel for lunch. Take an afternoon tour of the Taj Mahal complex and find out why Taj Mahal is the most visited monument in India. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 16 : Kagra - Jhansi - Khajuraho ( Train/160 Kms/4-5 Hrs)

In the morning, transfer to the railway station to board a train to Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi junction, local representatives from Erco Travels will meet and will take you on a three-hour drive to Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. Arrive in Khajuraho and proceed to the hotel for check-in and spending the rest of the evening.

Day 17 :Khajuraho - Varanasi ( Fly )

Khajuraho is a world famous for its erotic temples and statues. After breakfast, take a day tour of the western and eastern group of temples. These temples are listed as World Heritage Site. After lunch, proceed to the airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Transfer straight to the hotel after arrival. Varanasi is an important religious city for Hindus and is said to be the oldest living city of the world. You can have a short visit to the ghats (river banks) to see the evening prayer rituals. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 18: Varanasi

Get up early in the morning to see the prayer ceremony along the ghats of Ganges River. The best way to do so is to take a boat ride in the river. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Afterwards, have a guided day tour of Varanasi and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and other famous temples of Varanasi. You can visit Sarnath in the evening that is just 13-kms away from Varanasi. Sarnath is the very same place where Gautama Buddha gave his first preaching about Dharma after he attained enlightenment. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 19 :Varanasi - Delhi (Train)

Morning after lunch is free for leisure activities. In the evening, board a train back to Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay will be on-board.

Day 20 : Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and proceed to the hotel for relaxing. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities like shopping. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.

Day 21 : Dep Delhi
