Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Greetings and welcome on the Forts & Palaces Tour in Rajasthan. Erco Travels’ representatives will assist you in your transfer to the hotel after your arrival. Relax and spend the night in the hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi

Begin the full-day tour of Delhi after having breakfast at the hotel. Delhi is a cultural hub with many monuments and forts. The Red Fort, Salimgarh Fort and Purana Quila (Old Fort) are some of the main forts in Delhi. Other tourist attractions in Delhi are Humayun's Tomb, Safdarjung's Tomb, Qutub Minar and Jama Masjid.

Day 03 :Delhi - Mandawa ( 260 Kms /5-6 hrs

Drive to Mandawa in the morning. Mandawa, Rajasthan is a part of the Shekhavati region which was a major trading point on the ancient silk route. Take an afternoon tour of Mandawa after lunch to see the Mandawa Fort, Jhunjhunwala Haveli and Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli. The havelis (big royal mansions) are called open art gallery because of their painted walls.

Day 04 : Mandawa - Bikaner ( 175 Kms / 6 hrs):

Proceed to Bikaner in the morning by surface. Bikaner was a princely state of the former Rajputana region. Take a half-day tour of the city to see Junagarh Fort, Laxmi Niwas Palace Lalgarh Palace and Gajner Palace, which is now a heritage hotel.

Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer (340 kms / 7 hrs)

Next stop is Jaisalmer, the golden city of India. Drive to Jaisalmer in the morning. It was also a princely state of Rajputana and lies in the middle of the Thar Desert. Arrive in Jaisalmer and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the evening is for leisure activities.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer

On the day tour of Jaisalmer, visit the Jaisalmer Fort followed by a tour of Patwon-ki-Haveli. In the evening, take a camel safari ride to the Sam Sand dunes to see the beautiful view of sun setting in the desert.

Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur ( 288 Kms / 5-6 hrs)

It is now time to depart from Jaisalmer and proceed to Jodhpur on a five-hour drive. Jodhpur is the second-largest city and lies near the geographical center of Rajasthan. After arrival in Jodhpur, you can spend the remaining time in leisure activities.

Day 08 : Jodhpur -Ranakpur- Udaipur (259 kms / 6-7 hrs)

On the morning tour of Jodhpur, visit the Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Jaswant Thada. After lunch, drive to Ranakpur, one of the five holy places for Jains. The Jain temples of Ranakpur are very famous and have amazing architecture. Afterwards, continue your journey to Udaipur. Proceed straight to the hotel after arrival for spending the night.

Day 09 : Udaipur

Udaipur has many beautiful lakes, and thus it is called the lake city of India. On the full-day excursion through the city, you can visit City Palace & its museums, Jagdish Temple and Saheliyon-ki-Bari. In the evening, you can have a boat ride in Lake Pichola to visit the Jag Mandir located on one of the islands of Lake Pichola.

Day 10 : Udaipur - Pushkar ( 275 Kms / 6-7 hrs)

Drive to Pushkar in the morning. Pushkar is a holy city for the Hindus because of the Pushkar Lake. The world-famous Pushkar camel fair is also held here every year. After arrival and some resting, visit the Bramha temple that one of the very few temples for Lord Bramha in the world.

Day 11 : Pushkar - Jaipur ( 130 Kms / 3-4 hrs)

In the morning, take a short morning tour of the temples in Pushkar. Then, drive to Jaipur, which will take less than three hours. Jaipur is the present capital and is the largest city in Rajasthan. Arrive in Jaipur and proceed to the hotel. Visit Jantar Mantar in the afternoon, which is a collection of buildings used as astronomical instruments. Evening can be spent in shopping.

Day 12 : Jaipur

The full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur will include morning elephant ride to the Amber Fort. Next visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind) and City Palace followed by a sightseeing at Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Evening is free to explore Jaipur on your own.

Day 13 : Jaipur - Fatehpur sikri - Agra (232 Kms / 5-6 hrs)

It is now time to depart from Jaipur and proceed to Uttar Pradesh to visit Fatehpur Sikri and Agra. It will take around three hours to reach the deserted, but well-preserved Mughal town of Fatehpur Sikri. It was commissioned by Akbar the Great to be the next capital of India under Mughal Empire, but was soon abandoned after its completion. After Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Agra that is just 37 Km away. Take some rest in the hotel after your arrival. Then, take an afternoon tour of Agra to see the Taj Mahal. This white marble monument is unmatched in terms of beauty and design. Return to the hotel for the night.

Day 14 : Agra - Delhi (200 kms / 3-4 hrs)

Depart for Delhi in the morning by surface. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for shopping and strolling around local markets.

Day 15 : Depart Delhi

Checkout from the hotel and proceed to the airport to board the next flight back to the home country. Thank you and best wishes for the journey ahead.
