Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Greetings and welcome to New Delhi, the capital of India. Representatives from Erco Travels will meet-up with you upon your arrival at the airport and will assist you in transferring to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in relaxing at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. A full-day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi is arranged for today.
Delhi is the first city that is to be explored and is the starting point for all golden triangle tours in India. Delhi has been the seat of power for many kingdoms, including the Mughals and the British Raj. Thus, it has the characteristics of every kingdom that has ruled over India. Old Delhi has preserved the essence of Mughal Empire and traces of it can be found in its monuments. In Old Delhi, the main attractions are the Red Fort (built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan), the Jama Masjid Mosque and the Chandni Chowk (business centre of Old Delhi).
New Delhi is a complete opposite of Old Delhi. This planned city has many formal gardens and parks. The British Raj has left a deep impression on its culture and architecture, which can be seen in the design of the Parliament Building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the official residence of the President of India).
Return to the hotel for dinner and spending the night.
Day 03 : Delhi- Agra
Today after the breakfast, proceed to Agra in Uttar Pradesh. On arrival, proceed straight to the hotel for refreshing. Visit the grandest monument in India, Taj Mahal, late in the afternoon. There are so many interesting stories about Taj Mahal that you can know from the guide while visiting this Mughal masterpiece. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Day 04 : Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur
In the morning, check-out from the hotel and visit the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri that is just on the outskirts of Agra. Built to be the next capital of the Mughal Empire, Fatehpur Sikri was deserted soon after its completion. Afterwards, proceed for Jaipur, Rajasthan by surface. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Jaipur
Begin the morning with a delicious Rajasthani breakfast. Now, it is time for a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Enter the Amber Fort in a royal style by having an elephant ride. It is one of the most amazing forts in Rajasthan. After exploring the fort, continue your Jaipur tour and visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind), Jantar Mantar and City Palace. Try your bargaining skill in the evening at the local markets. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Day 06 : Jaipur-Delhi
After enjoying breakfast in the hotel, checkout and return to Delhi by surface. On arrival, proceed to the hotel for spending the rest of evening and dinner.
Day 07 : Delhi Depart
