South India Special Tour
Day 01 : Arrive Trivandrum - Kovalam
Welcome to the South India Special Tour. Arrive at the Thiruvananthapuram airport where representatives from Erco Travels will greet you and will help you in transferring to Kovalam (25 minutes drive). Arrive in Kovalam and head for the hotel for check-in. Spend the night in the hotel.
Day 02: Kovalam
Kovalam is a famous tourist hotspot with three beaches stretching on 17 km coastline. After the breakfast, the day is free for leisure activities and lazing around the beaches. You can have wooden boat ride or do surfing. Enjoy the beautiful sunset view in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 :Kovalam - Alleppey ( 160 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Alleppey afterwards, which is famous for its backwaters and houseboats. The beauty of Alleppey resides in the picturesque canals and backwaters. On arrival, board a houseboat that will take you on a cruise across the backwaters of Alleppey. Dinner and overnight stay will be on-board.
Day 04 : Alleppey - Thekkady ( 110 Kms / 2-3 Hrs)
Breakfast will be served on the houseboat. Checkout from the houseboat afterwards and proceed to Thekkady. The famous Periyar National Park is located in Thekkady. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Afterwards, take an afternoon safari in Periyar National Park to see tigers. Enjoy a boat cruise in the evening on Periyar River. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Thekkady - Munnar ( 160 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)
After the breakfast, take a road-trip to the hill station known as Munnar. Waterfalls, tea garden, wildlife sanctuaries and high mountains are the main attractions in Munnar. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure activities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 :Munnar
Explore the scenic beauty of Munnar on your own after the breakfast. There are many tourist hotspots in Munnar like the Echo Point, Atukkad Waterfalls, Mattupetti Dam and Photo Point. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Munnar - Cochin ( 153 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)
After having breakfast in the hotel, drive to Kochi. The rich history and natural beauty of Kochi make it a great place to visit for tourism. Arrive in Kochi and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for self-activities.
Day 08 : Cochin
Begin the sightseeing tour of Kochi and visit the Santacruz Basilica, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Chendamangalam Palace Fort. Rest of the day after lunch is free. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 09 : Cochin - Ooty (280 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)
Enjoy a lazy breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, proceed to Ooty on a long road-trip. Upon arrival, proceed to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
DAY 10 : Ooty
Ooty is called the Queen of Hill Stations because of its stunning and splendid green valleys. Fell free to explore the beauty of Ooty on a day tour. There are many things to see in Ooty like tea gardens, lakes, lofty mountains, dense forests and sprawling grasslands.
Day 11 : Ooty - Mysore ( 159 Kms / 4-5 Hrs)
Breakfast will be at the hotel followed by a drive to Mysore, Karnataka. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for lunch. Then, take an afternoon tour of the city and visit Mysore Palace, St. Philomenas Church and Brindavan Gardens. Visit Krishnarajasagar Dam in the evening to see the musical fountain show that is held every evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 12 : Mysore - Bangalore ( 140 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)
The last stop of this tour is Bangalore, the third-largest Indian city and the silicon valley of India. Drive to Bangalore after the breakfast. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please.
DAY 13 : Bangalore
Take a full-day tour of Bangalore after the breakfast. The main attractions of Bangalore are the Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan's Palace, ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple and Shiva Temple. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Depart Bangalore
Proceed to the airport after the breakfast to board a flight to your home country or your next destination. Thank you and best wishes for the journey ahead.
