North India Nepal Tour
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Welcome to the North India & Nepal Tour by Erco Travels. You will be greeted by Erco Travels’ representatives on the airport. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel for spending the rest of the day.
Day 02 : Delhi-Jaipur
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Then take a half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. There are many historical monuments and structures in Delhi like Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun's tomb that are listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. After lunch, you will be taken to Jaipur, Rajasthan by surface. Arrangements for your stay in the hotel will be done before your arrival. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 : Jaipur
The full-day excursion of Jaipur will include elephant ride to Amber Fort, sightseeing at Jantar Mantar and visit to the museum inside the City Palace of Jaipur. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 04: Jaipur-Bharatpur
After spending a great time in Jaipur, it is now time to head to Bharatpur. The famous Keoladeo Ghana National Park (also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary) is the main tourist attraction of Bharatpur. Here you can see so many species of migrating birds. After this bird-watching tour, proceed to a pre-booked hotel in Bharatpur for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 :Bharatpur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra
After a lazy breakfast, proceed to Agra in Uttar Pradesh, the home of Taj Mahal. On the way to Agra lies a beautiful but deserted Mughal city known as Fatehpur Sikri. After the tour of Fatehpur Sikri, continue towards Agra. Proceed to the hotel upon arrival for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Agra
Have an early-morning tour of the Taj Mahal to see it changing colors. The mesmerizing beauty of the Taj will leave you awestruck. Next, you can visit the Agra Fort. Both Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are World Heritage Sites. Other prominent attractions of Agra include Jama Masjid, Sikandra (Tomb of Akbar the Great) and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 07 : Day 07: Agra- Khajuraho(Fly)
After breakfast, it is now time to head towards Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh in central India. Board a train to Khajuraho from the railway station and reach Khajuraho late in the evening. Proceed straight to the hotel afterwards for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 : Khajuraho
The world-famous erotic sculptures and temples of Khajuraho are listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. These temples are grouped on their geographical location as western, eastern and southern. On the full-day excursion, first visit the eastern and western group of temples. After lunch, you can visit the temples of the southern group. A light and sound show is organized daily for the tourists in the evening. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09 : Khajurao-Varanasi(Fly)
Now proceed to the oldest living city in the world, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. After a short fight, arrive at Varanasi airport where local representatives from Erco Travels will assist you in transferring to the hotel. You can visit Sarnath (deer park) in the afternoon. It is an important religious place for the Buddhists.
Day 10 : Varanasi
Varanasi holds great religious importance for the Hindus as it is considered one of the holiest places for pilgrims in India. The first thing to do on Varanasi tour is to have a boat ride in the holy Ganges River for observing the holy rituals of the morning ceremony. After breakfast, you can have a city tour that includes visits to Durga Temple, Tilbhandeshwar Temple and Tulsi Manas mandir. Evening is for shopping and strolling around in the local markets.
Day 11 - Varanasi-Kathmandu(Fly)
Morning time is free, so use it accordingly. Now it is time to leave the hotel and proceed to the airport to board a flight to Kathmandu in Nepal. Arrive at the airport where you will be assisted by local Erco Travels’ representatives in transferring to the hotel. Spend rest of the day in adapting to the environment. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12 : Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and is a famous tourist destination. Being located in the mountains, it has many beautiful sight and scenes. The day tour of Kathmandu includes Durbar squares, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath. Evening is free for shopping and other leisure activities. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Kathmandu - Chitwan
A drive to Chitwan after the breakfast is arranged in the morning. Chitwan is the first National Park in Nepal to support the local flora and fauna. Check-in at the Chitwan Jungle Lodge upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day in the resort.
Day 14-15 : Chitwan
Take a full-day safari in the Chitwan National Park. This park supports a wide variety of plant and animal species. You can see Bengal Tigers, Leopards and Indian rock python. It is also home for the second-largest population of Asian Rhinoceros in the world. Return to the resort in the evening.
The second day in Chitwan will include a visit to Beeshazar Tal (lake), which is a great place for bird-watching. Also visit the picnic spots on small islands in Narayani River. Visit Narayangarh in the evening for shopping. Dinner will be at the resort.
Day 16 : Chitwan-Pokhara
After breakfast, proceed to Pokhara. It is the second-largest city in Nepal and is a major tourist destination. Arrive in Pokhara and proceed to the hotel. You can visit the two major hilltops in the city to see the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 17 : Pokhara
On a day tour of Pokhara, you can visit Barahi Temple, Bindhyabasini, Bhadrakali, Sitaldevi, Gita Mandir temple and Bhimsen temple. You can also visit the International Mountain Museum. Rest of the day is for leisure activities.
Day 18 : Pokhara-Kathmandu
It is time to drive back to Kathmandu after the breakfast. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please.
Day 19 : Kathmandu
After the breakfast, the entire day is free. There are many places that you can explore in and around Kathmandu during the day.
Day 20 : Kathmandu-Delhi
Now it is time to check-out from the hotel and proceed to the airport to board a flight back to Delhi, India. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. Evening is for shopping and leisure activities.
Day 21 : Depart from Delhi
After breakfast, proceed to the airport to catch the next flight to your home country. Thank you and best wishes for the journey ahead by Erco Travels.
