Rajasthan Varanasi Tour
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Erco Travels brings the Rajasthan and Varanasi tour that combines the regal lifestyle of Rajasthan with the spiritual aura of Varanasi. The tour begins with your arrival at the Delhi international airport. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi
Start the day tour of Delhi by visiting Red Fort and Jama Masjid in the morning. Then, visit the India Gate, Parliament of India, Jantar Mantar and Qutub Minar. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Day 03 : Delhi-Varanasi
Day after breakfast is free for leisure activities. In the evening, get on the next train to Varanasi. Dinner and overnight stay will be onboard.
Day 04 : Varanasi
Varanasi is located on the bank of Ganges River in Uttar Pradesh and is an important religious center for the Hindu community. Upon your early-morning arrival at the railway station, you will be transferred to the hotel for refreshing. Near Varanasi (13 km away) lies a sacred Buddhist city called Sarnath. Take an afternoon visit to Sarnath to see the stupa and Buddhist temple.
Day 05 : Varanasi
The best thing to see in Varanasi is the ghats of Varanasi and the best way to see them is through a boat ride in Ganges. Visit the famous temples of Varanasi after the morning boat ride. Be a part of the evening aarti (worship ceremony) on the ghats. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 06 : Varanasi-Agra
Visit the art gallery in Banaras Hindu University after breakfast. Rest of the day is free. Board a train to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 07 : Agra
You will be transferred to the hotel after your arrival at the Agra railway station. Agra, once the Mughal capital of India, has so much to offer to its visitors. Visit the symbol of eternal love, Taj Mahal after the breakfast. Other major attractions that you can visit in the afternoon are Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. The tomb of Akbar the Great known as Sikandra lies just on the outskirts of Agra (13 km away). You can make a short trip to Sikandra in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 : Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Bharatpur
In the morning, depart from the hotel and proceed to Fatehpur Sikri. It is an old Mughal city which was soon deserted after it was completed because of lack of proper water source. It is a well-preserved ghost town with Mughal monuments and palaces. Next destination of this tour is Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Proceed to Bharatpur by surface (30 km away) after lunch. Arrive in Bharatpur and proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Jaipur
Bharatpur is a best known for Keoladeo Ghana National Park. It is one of the best bird-watching sites of Asia. Take a morning safari to see different species of birds and wild vegetation. Afterwards, proceed to Jaipur on a three-hour road-trip. Arrive in Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for relaxing and self-activities.
Day 10 : Jaipur
Jaipur is a former princely Rajputana state and is known for its imperial heritage. On a full-day tour of Jaipur, you can visit City Palace, Palace of Wind, Amber Fort, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and Jantar Mantar. Get back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11 : Jaipur-Pushkar
Pushkar is a well-known tourist destination of Rajasthan and is the next stop of this tour. Take a two-hour road trip to Pushkar in the morning. After your arrival, relax in the hotel till lunch. Then take an afternoon tour of Pushkar to visit the famous Pushkar Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 12 : Pushkar-Udaipur
Udaipur, your next destination, is very famous for its cultural vibrancy among western tourists. The palaces and lakes in Udaipur make it one of the most romantic places to visit in India. Proceed to Udaipur by surface on a four-hour road trip. Arrive and proceed to the hotel for lunch and refreshing. In the evening, take a boat ride in Lake Pichola and visit the Jag Mandir on one of its islands. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 13 : Udaipur
Take a full-day city tour of Udaipur to see City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake and Saheliyon-ki-Bari. Visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal (folk arts museum) in the afternnon to see puppet shows. Enjoy a Rajasthani traditional dance and music show at Bagore-ki-Haveli in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Udaipur-Ranakpur-Jodhpur
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. It is now time to depart from the hotel and proceed to Jodhpur. Ranakpur is a small village on the way to Jodhpur that is a pilgrimage center for Jain community. The 500 years-old Jain temple of Ranakpur is famous because of its architecture and carved pillars. Then, continue towards Jodhpur. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 15 : Jodhpur
Jodhpur is also a former princely state with a rich history. The day tour of Jodhpur includes a visit to Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. You can also visit Mandore (9 km away) to see beautiful gardens in the afternoon. Evening is free for leisure activities.
Day 16: Jodhpur-Jaisalmer
After breakfast, enjoy your leisure time as you please. If you want, you can enjoy the flying fox adventure ride near Mehrangarh Fort. After lunch, depart from Jodhpur and head to Jaisalmer. Arrive in Jaisalmer and proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 17 : Jaisalmer
Begin the day tour of Jaisalmer to visit the Jaisalmer Fort and GadiSar Lake. Visit the Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy the beautiful view of sun setting in the desert. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 18: Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is full of Jain temples so take a half-day tour of these temples. Rest of the day is free for self-activities. Get back to the hotel for spending the night.
Day 19 : Jaiselmer-Bikaner
Bikaner is referred as the gateway to the Great Indian Desert or the Thar Desert. Drive to Bikaner after the breakfast on a four-hour drive. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for refreshing. Then, take a day tour of Bikaner to see Junagarh Fort, Laxmi Niwas Palace, Lalgarh Palace and Laxmi Nath Temple. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 20 : Bikaner-Mukundgarh
Drive to Mukundgarh in the morning which lies in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. After arrival, feel free to explore the royal painted havelis around Mukundgarh. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 21 : Mukundgarh-Delhi
On the final day of this tour, depart from the hotel and drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, proceed to the airport to catch the next flight back to the home country. Thank you and visit again.
