Baster Tribal Tour
Day 01 : Raipur Kawardha
Greetings and welcome to the Tribal Tour by Erco Travels. Local representatives from Erco Travels will meet you-up with you at Raipur in Chhattisgarh, and then you will be driven to Kawardha. Arrangements for your stay are made in the Kawardha Palace. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Chhattisgarhi dance followed by dinner.
Day 02 : Kawardha
An experienced tour guide will be accompanying you for the day tour of Kawardha. Explore the tribal and natural world of Kawardha and meet the friendly people of Baiga forest tribe. Lunch will be served in the tribal village. Return to the Kawardha Palace for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Kawardha - Raipur - Kanker
Breakfast will be at the palace followed by some free time for leisure activities. Then take a two-hour drive back to Raipur. After lunch, visit the Mahant Ghasidas Museum. Afterwards, proceed to Kanker and check-in at the royal Kanker Palace. Enjoy a traditional folk dance show in the evening followed by dinner.
Day 04 : Kanker - Kondagoan - Narayanpur - Kanker
Breakfast will be at the Kanker Palace. Now proceed to Bastar, a former princely state. Visit the local markets of Kondagoan and Narayanpur to find some of the finest handicrafts made by the tribal people of Bastar. Here you can meet these local tribe people. An evening tribal dance performance by the locals will be the highlight of today. Return to the Kanker Palace for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Kankar - Jagdalpur
Enjoy breakfast in the palace. Proceed to Jagdalpur, the former capital and the main town of Bastar. It will take three-hours to reach Jagdalpur. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival for relaxing and lunch. Take an afternoon sightseeing tour near Chitrakote Falls. There will be a traditional dance show performed by Bison Horn Maria tribe followed by a barbecue in authentic Bastar style. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 06 : Jagdalpur - Kangar Valley National Park - Jagdalpur
Proceed for a jungle safari in Kangar Valley National Park after the breakfast. Besides its natural beauty, Tirathgarh Waterfalls and Kotumsar Caves are the two main tourist attractions inside this national park. After an outdoor lunch, you can visit the local tribes of this region. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Day 07 : Jagdalpur - Raipur
After breakfast, visit the markets of Jagdalpur and then return to Kankar. Lunch will be at the Kankar Palace followed by a two-hour drive back to Raipur. Check-in at the hotel for spending the rest of the evening and dinner.
Day 08 : Raipur departure
On the last day of this tour after breakfast, proceed to the Raipur airport to board a flight to your next destination. Thank you and visit again. .
